DeMolay is

For over one hundred years, DeMolay has been the premier youth organization that teaches young men to be better persons and leaders.

The Order of DeMolay teaches seven core values, which we call cardinal virtues, as the basis of good character.

Basic principles of a DeMolay:

  • – Love of parents.
  • – Respect for others, their beliefs, their opinions, the things they hold sacred.
  • – Courtesy towards everyone.
  • – Friendship.
  • – Faithfulness.
  • – Cleanness in thought and action.
  • – Patriotism

DeMolay International:

  • is an organization for young men between 12 and 21 who are of good reputation and character.
  • assists its members in growing into responsible adults, providing them with a safe environment to have fun, companionship, be accepted by peers, and develop their social skills.
  • is the premier youth organization dedicated to teaching young men to be better persons and successful leaders.
  • has more than one-thousand chapters with over three-million alumni from chapters in all fifty United States and several foreign countries.
  • was founded in 1919 in Kansas City, Missouri.
  • has members who have succeeded in every field of endeavor, from United States Presidents, Congressmen, Governors, astronauts and professional athletes, to entertainers and founders of major entrepreneurial corporations.
  • DeMolay Alumni include Walt Disney, John Wayne, Walter Cronkite, Paul Harvey and Dan Rather to name only a few. Under the advisorship of adults, leadership skills, civic awareness, character development and responsibility are learned through a variety of self-directed, real-world applications and activities.
